Optimum Flooring were called in to have a look at this job as the floor had been damaged as a result of a fire. The whole floor area of around 1800m2 needed a revamp but first our team focused on the areas of damaged floor as shown below. We started by digging out the area most affect by electric kango machines to a depth of 30mm, then we primed the area with a scatter of aggregate before pumping in a deep fill smoothing compound to a depth of 30mm. Once this had cured we applied a clear epoxy seal coat over the top, ready for our works to the whole of the floor area.
